چکیده
In earlier papers qualifying types were presented as a technique for dynamically qualifying objects in a general way. This paper considers how such types can be composed statically into the definitions of other types.

Support for Subtyping and Code Re-use in Timor
Unlike most object oriented programming languages Timor, which has been designed to support component development, replaces the class construct with separate constructs for defining types and their implementations (which are not types). It also distinguishes between behaviourally conforming subtyping and the inclusion of behaviourally deviant interfaces in the definition of derived types. The s...
متن کاملTraditional Birth Attendance (TBA) in a health system: what are the roles, benefits and challenges: A case study of incorporated TBA in Timor-Leste
Background: One current strategy to overcome the issue of shortage of qualified health workers has focused on the use of community health workers in the developing countries to deliver health care services specifically to the most vulnerable communities in the rural areas. Timor-Leste is the one of the world’s newest developing countries that has incorporated the traditional birth attendance in...

The evidence for successful postwar democratic transitions is not encouraging: since 1989, the international community has launched 19 major peacebuilding operations. These operations were reasonably successful in securing peace, but much less successful in establishing a democratic regime. Five years after the operations began, only two countries qualified as liberal democracy; also, no recent...
متن کاملInheriting Multiple and Repeated Parts in Timor
The paper describes one aspect of multiple inheritance in the Timor programming language, viz. how "parts" such as a type Radio and a type Cassette Player can be inherited, where appropriate repeatedly, in subtypes such as a Radio Double Cassette Player. Because such types can also be defined via aggregation the paper begins by comparing inheritance with aggregation. It then shows how such case...
متن کاملTypes and Co-Types in Timor
A co-type is a type with instance methods and instance data which enhance the functionality of some other type (its "expanded" type). The instance methods of the co-type correspond approximately to constructors, class methods and binary methods of the expanded type in other class-based OO systems, and the instance data replaces class-based data. This unconventional approach was motivated by the...
